Former MP Shahabuddin dies of corona, treatment was being done in Delhi hospital

DELHI: RJD’s Bahubali leader and former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin has passed away. Big news is coming out of Delhi at this time. Mohammad Shahabuddin was lodged in Tihar Jail in Delhi on a number of criminal matters and was being treated in the hospital after being found Corona positive in the past. According to news agency ANI, Shahabuddin has died today.

According to information received from Delhi, Mohammad Shahabuddin’s health was deteriorating and he died while undergoing treatment at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Two days ago, the Delhi High Court gave the Delhi government and the jail administration with a directive to treat Mohammad Shahabuddin in a better way.
While giving instructions on Shahabuddin’s plea, Justice Pratibha Singh had said that the doctors on duty, who are treating the Corona patients, should take care of their health. On behalf of Shahabuddin, it was said in the court that he is not being treated properly, with the court also allowed Shahabuddin to talk home twice a day.
Mohammad Shahabuddin, who was an MLA and MP in the 90s, was known as Bahubali in Bihar. Shahabuddin, considered extremely close to Lalu Yadav, has been in controversies many times. He was accused of killing Chanda Babu’s sons in Siwan and was also sentenced by the court. Shahabuddin’s name also cropped up in the journalist Rajdev Ranjan murder case. Shahabuddin was later sent to Tihar Jail on the direction of the court.
